Prices, Payment and Delivery

All prices and charges on this site are in UK pounds & exclusive of postage & packing. The price you will be asked to pay includes any tax (VAT) payable, the delivery charge is added during the checkout process. Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. We accept payment by credit card, debit card or PayPal at the online shop. UK drawn cheques and bank transfer can also be used for orders placed by letter, fax or phone. Your order will be posted to you within 28 days of receipt of payment (usually much sooner!).

All pictures of products are for illustrative purposes only & pack contents may vary slightly.

Models are supplied unpainted, without separate bases unless indicated otherwise and may need some minor assembly.

The products we supply are not toys. Not recommended for children under the age of 15. 
Some of the miniatures have sharp points so please handle with care and may be harmful if swallowed. 
Scarab Miniatures use several metal alloys. Originally all our miniatures were cast from a high quality lead pewter alloy as this gives greater detail, is safer, stronger & ensures minimal flash. We still have some stock made from this alloy. We currently use an outside contractor for our casting and they use an alloy that contains a small amount of lead.

We resell other companies products that are made from white metal and other alloy compositions. We cannot be held responsible for the material content for these products.

Some products are made from plastic and care should be taken when removing components from the plastic sprue or runners.

Regardless of whether the product is made from either alloy or plastic, it is advisable to always wash your hands after handling. Do not put the product in your mouth and do not consume food or drink while handling the products. Finally, as a word of advice, it is a good idea to – at minimum – put a covering of paint on the product, such as an undercoat as soon as possible to create a barrier between the alloy or plastic and your hands.
