I find it puzzling that Macedonian pikemen have such low morale. Look at the following lists. As successful as they were, shouldn’t they be rated the same as the Carthaginians? Were they worse then standard Greek Hoplites? The same as the Persian regular infantry they beat so often?
Or is it presumed that each pike unit will have a Taxiarch?
Macedonian Veterans: CA4, M7
Macedonian regulars: CA3, M6
Carthaginian Veterans: CA4, M8
Carthaginian regulars: CA3, M7
Spanish Scutari: CA3, M7
Carthaginian Gauls: CA3, M7
Greek veteran hoplites: CA4, M7
Greek Hoplites: CA3, M7
Indian Mercenaries: CA3, M7
Indian Hereditary Warriors: CA3, M6
Republican Roman Principe: CA3, M7
Republican Roman Hastati: CA3, M6
Early Persian Immortals: CA4, M8
Early Persian Infantry: CA3, M6
Thracian Hill Tribes: CA3, M6
Not sure I can recall why, but possibly to differentiate between veterans and regulars, (although it may have been to keeps points cost of models down,)
Historically it may have reflected they may have wanted to go home so if the leader dies, they are more vulnerable
It could be worth upping them by 1 for morale with the appropriate 1 point increase in points value.

That would be better I think.
I will look at doing that on a future update – will make a note on the topic thread
