Post War & Sorcery: The Kingdoms of Men
For those of us with suitable forces that have lurked in boxes for too long... The idea is to be able to easily use those old 'human-oriented' fantasy armies from another previously popular gaming system, plus include some historical armies (with the addition of a few more "exotic" troop types, shamans, etc).

These are just generic categories to start the ball rolling. I guess that sub-lists would be required within each, particularly to account for monsters, gunpowder weapons, shamans, wizards, etc.

(Apologies in advance for the decidedly euro-centric view)

Men of the North
GW Norse, Vikings, Saxons, Irish, etc

Men of the South
Arabs, Indians, etc

Men of the East
Near East: Greeks, Spartans, Parthians, Sarmatians, etc
Far East: Chinese, Samurai, etc

Men of the West
GW Brets, GW Empire, Normans, etc

This list is by no means exhaustive, just a start.

For the historical lists I think we'd only need to produce an "annex" covering magic users and any exotic troops - for example, the Vikings would need some sort of Shaman and maybe some part bear or wolf beserkers, perhaps wolf-packs, etc. Hopefully you can see what I'm getting at?

Cheers

Matt

I would add Amazons into the greek list for this game. Allows for use of the WGF models, and a fantasy-esque unit that would fit in thematically.

Mal- a good point, Women of the Near East...

Matt - Yep, I expect plenty of room for all of these, indeed, I have already sketched out a 'place' for them all to do battle along with a few others
