Re: Dwarfs, or Dwarves and all things Elf
I've seen plenty of dwarf cav models, bears, pigs, ponies. I agree with the fact that their movement should not be restricted Rob FWIW. They are stalwart and work hard to pretend to be bigger than they are

Well I got carried away developing the background Although it does fit within a 'wider world' I have come up with to justify all these different armies, so its worthwhile time spent Starting on the actual list today and tomorrow, there are two distinct types of dwarf, those that are 'norse' in background and those that are more modern - using such things as gunpowder. There are a few other fun additions ticking along as well.

Re: Dwarfs, or Dwarves and all things Elf
There are now two types of dwarf cavalry Movement- basic move remains the same, double pacing is a D3 add on, charging and triple move a D6. Yes this means sometimes dwarves will charge further than you expect. I think its a decent trade for their slower progress. I am still tinkering with this though. Dwarfs will get a D8 upgrade option, or it might end up as standard with some troop types. I am currently tidying up the profiles and then will do the points values, then it can go online as version zero for discussion and amendment

Well Dwarf Berserkers are completed, so version one now needs points values added, and we should be done..

Re: Dwarfs, or Dwarves and all things Elf
Ahem, before doing the points, I thought I best do the dwarf spells. So we have - Tough as an Old Dwarf Berserker Rage Bolts and Sparks This is Dwarf Armour! The Cutting Edge (of death) And the Anvil, which isn't a spell, its an anvil It will help the spell casting in some way, plus act as a Rally Point with (possibly) a bonus to Rally. There will also be a War Anvil, which is carried, and so can potentially become a mobile Rally Point - I have not written the detail on this, and need to decide which spells are dangerous and/or deadly.

Re: Dwarfs, or Dwarves and all things Elf
Just got to finish off the points values for the Personalities, and add in some weapon options for the Missile troops. Taken a bit longer today than planned, as I wrote some background for a Personality, and also had to take advantage of the weather to chop some wood and clear up some leaves.

Scibor do some of the best dwarf bear cavalry I have ever seen. The figures are absolutely gorgeous.
