SO I was thinking of this today, and then got the 4 years young update and thought I would give some feedback/suggestions and had some questions

So are the Ikko Ikki planned to include Sohei monks, because there are actually separate movements, as the Sohei monks fought both with and against the Ikko Ikki at times.

Not sure if it would be feasible, but somehow including a Tetsubo club option would be interesting. Doesn't really parrallel to anything though.

Shouldn't the Arquebus be called teppo?

So for the Challenge rule, maybe make personalities pick a particular weapon and each have a different effect in the combat, some of them benefiting the general melee, so for challenges instead. Probably to complicated though.

thanks for those comments - just off out to watch young people play rock music!

I have lists for Sohei and Ikko

Yes teppo is correct,

Nice ideas on the challenge and club but as you note might be a bit difficult to implement.

And separately, have you ever considered Gempei war lists for Medieval and Boshin War/Satsuma Rebellion for Gunpowder era?

Gempei War (and Mongol Invasion) were done at the same time - the later rebellion didn't really fit within the scope of what I was writing at the time
