Post Finally ready for battle
Finally, after several months of wheelin’ & Dealin’ and lots and lots of painting, I finally have my two armies painted for a late 1620s fight between Sweden & Poland. I should be able to get a battle down in about a week or so. I different from the army lists here somewhat. Sometimes because I love variety and sometimes to match the figures I have. All in All, 3000 sides per side. Not altogether positive I have the points right, so I list them below
Sweden:
Gustavus (190-2SIP), banner (100) and a wing commander (110-1SIP). I made Gustavus morale 9 with 3 strikes, but cut his lives down to two, as he was wounded several times.
I have five cavalry units, each 12 figs. CA/SA/KA/Mor/AV/Pts
Sw veterans (2 pistols/light armor): 4/3/3/8/2 @ 23
Sw Regulars (same): 3/3/3/8/2 @ 21
Fin veterans: (same): 4/3/3/9/2 @ 26
German Cuir: (same):3/4/3/8/3 @24
Harquebussiers: (arquebus, light armor): 3/3/3/7/2 @ 18
2 units of 6 commanded shot: 3/3/3/7/0 @ 12

Notes: I had the Germans not quite converted to charging cav yet – just to be different. I also figured the commanded shot wouldn’t be as steady as normal Swedish shot

I have three infantry units w/ one battalion gun. They are broken up into one unit (pike/shot) each of Swedes (8/16), Germans (12/14) & Scots (8/16).

Swedes pike: 4/3/3/8/1 @ 16; shot: 3/4/3/8/0 @ 15
German pike: 4/3/3/8/2 @ 17; shot 3/4/3/8/0 @ 15
Scots pike: 3/3/3/7/0 @ 11; shot 3/3/3/7/0 @ 12

Poles:
They are meant to be a highly mobile strike force.
General (190 – 2SIP), banner (100) and wing commander (110-1SIP)

I figured not all winged Hussars are created equal so have two types, the first (12,10&6) being more numerous than the latter (6) – which are also much older figs
Elite Winged hussars (lance, pistols, hvy armor, shock+2): 4/4/3/8/3 @ 34
Lessor winged hussars (same) 3/3/3/7/3 @ 24

The Cossacks are different to match my available figs:
12 Pancerni (spear, bow light armor, shield): 3/3/3/7/3 @ 20
8 Cossacks (spear, pistols): 3/3/3/7/1 @ 18
8 Cossacks (bows): 3/4/3/7/1 @ 16
2x10 Tartars (spear, bows, shields):3/3/3/6/2 @ 16

2 x 24 foot (muskets/halberds): 3/3/3/7/0 @ 14
